The time to get started is now
Our online application has made getting started with Academic Answer an easy process. Here's how it works. Simply fill out the form provided by our servicing partner, AES, on their Web site. Be sure to have your contact information, Social Security number, driver's license, and two references not living with you on hand before you begin. Completion takes about 15 minutes.
You may also need to provide supporting documentation. A comprehensive list of documentation you may need to provide can be found here.
When to consider a cosigner.
If you are concerned about being approved for a private loan, or you don't have 30 months of credit history, you might want to consider strengthening your chances by adding a cosigner.
School certification
The Academic Answer loan requires school certification. When certifying a loan, the financial aid office will verify you are eligible for the loan amount requested. Your funds will be sent directly to the financial aid office to be applied to your account.
